Policies
The standards that govern publication at JAIAI. Questions? Write to editors@jaiai.co.in.
Publication Ethics
JAIAI follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. All editors, reviewers, and authors are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity.
Allegations of misconduct — including data fabrication, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and authorship disputes — are investigated under COPE flowcharts by an editor not involved in the original handling of the manuscript.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain full copyright of their work. All articles published in JAIAI are released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
This means anyone may share, adapt, and build upon the work — including for commercial purposes — provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors.
Privacy Policy
JAIAI collects only the minimum personal information needed to operate the editorial workflow: names, affiliations, and email addresses of authors and reviewers.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. The website uses minimal, anonymised analytics. Reviewer identities are kept confidential indefinitely.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose all financial, personal, or professional relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research at the time of submission.
Editors and reviewers must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a real or perceived conflict of interest exists, including recent collaboration, institutional overlap, or competing commercial interests.
Plagiarism Policy
All submissions are screened for originality. Plagiarism — including self-plagiarism, paraphrasing without attribution, and reuse of previously published figures or text without permission — is grounds for immediate rejection.
Confirmed plagiarism in published work will lead to a formal correction or retraction in line with COPE guidance, and a notice will be sent to the authors' institutions where appropriate.
